Best Ways to Floss Your TeethFlossing your teeth is quite integral for your dental health. The method helps to eliminate any food particles that are stuck in your teeth and also will help to eliminate bacteria and plaque in the mouth. There are various essential steps that you should follow when flossing your teeth and primarily including:

Use 18 Inches of the Floss

The first step when flossing your teeth is to wrap the floss around the middle fingers of both hands. A good grip will ensure that you conduct the flossing process more seamlessly and smoothly. You should also ensure that you hold the floss between the forefingers and thumbs to avoid it falling off during the flossing process.

Incorporate a Gentle and Rubbing Motion

Carefully floss in between your upper and lower teeth. The floss should be able to eliminate any dirt or food particles that are stuck in these narrow areas. Make use of a very gentle yet rubbing motion in the process. Avoid irritating your gums during the process.

Curve a C Shape

When you reach the gum line, make a C shape against the teeth. Use the floss to get into the space between the teeth and gum gently. The method ensures you don't injure your gums while carefully eliminating all food particles.

Rub the Side of your Teeth

The final step is to hold the floss against your teeth. Rub on the teeth' sides while carefully moving the floss from the gum. Makeup and down gentle motions to ensure the entire teeth are free from any dirt. Ensure you also clean even the back side of all the teeth.

For the best results, ensure you floss your teeth at least once daily. Flossing helps to minimize the risk of gum disease and tooth decay. You should also ensure you brush regularly and visit your dentists often.
