Did you ever wonder if the makeup you put on can change how bright and white your teeth appear? If you use the right colors of makeup, this can happen.

Each person's face is slightly different and requires different tones and types of makeup to give a flawless look. However, specific tricks can be used across the board to give you a brighter, whiter looking smile.

Tips to Make Your Smile Look Whiter with Makeup

If you want your teeth to appear whiter, you need to start with the right shade of lipstick. Any type of red/orange color is going to give you the appearance of yellow teeth, so you want to stick with a color that has a blue base. Any type of plum lipstick is going to improve your smile's whitened appearance.

Next, you want to put a bit of bronzer on your face. This naturally gives you a more glowing appearance, and it makes your smile look whiter. This should be done minimally, and made to look natural, so as to avoid an orange hue on your skin.

Finally, you want to highlight your lips and top them off with the right gloss. Using a highlighting pencil around your lips can give your lips a fuller appearance. Then, if you top them off with a silvery gloss, they are going to combine to give your teeth a bright, white appearance when you smile.

If you would rather go through and get your teeth whitened than to worry about all of these things, then go in and see your dentist. This gives you the opportunity to have that bright, white smile you are seeking, without having to worry about what shade or type of makeup you put anywhere on your face.
